Regulus is the most royal star among the fixed stars, as it is the heart of the Celestial Lion. Astrologically, the heart is ruled by the royal planet, the Sun, as is the lion, so Regulus is the most royal part of the most royal constellation. Due to the precession equinoxes, Regulus has moved to 0 Virgo. Regulus is among the most powerful fixed stars because of its brightness and position near the ecliptic.
