This pendant features a single natural Moldavite crystal, a glassy green tektite formed by the heat of a meteorite impact about 15 million years ago in what is now the Czech Republic. During the impact, the silica in the surrounding soil was melted before being splashed into the earth's atmosphere, and cooling into rippled green glass as it fell back to earth.
