This piece features a naturally formed tektite, a type of impact glass created when a meteorite strikes the Earth with enough force to melt terrestrial rock. The result is a dark, glossy stone with irregular surface textures and internal bubbles, each one a product of high-speed atmospheric entry and cooling.
