Sometimes referred to as "window selenite," selenite AKA gypsum from the Western mountain regions of the US is known for it's supreme clarity and glassy appearance. This particular piece caught our attention with it's intricate and well defined etching that's created labyrinthian patterns across it's entire exterior, and has softened all surfaces to a velvety finish making it an absolute joy to hold and work with.
